History with TAMAM

Al-Elya Basic Education School, established in 1976, provides basic education for students from Grades 1 to 9. The school also offers special education programs tailored to support students with intellectual disabilities. The school joined TAMAM in Phase 4 (2018-2021) as part of the third group of schools joining TAMAM from Oman and continues to actively participate in TAMAM activities to this day. The school implemented a “Reading Oasis” initiative to enhance academic achievement, self-confidence, and language proficiencyof students. This initiative has fostered a culture of change within the school, equipping its leadership team with the skills necessary for sustainable improvement and stronger community partnerships.
