History with TAMAM

Makassed Omar Bin Al-Khattab is a K-12 co-educational school that strives to provide its learners with high quality learning, and equip them with 21st century skills and STEM education in an Islamic environment. The school was initiated in 1932 by Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association of Beirut. The school has received the Cognia International Accreditation, and the International School Award from the British Council, and is classified as a Microsoft Showcase School. The school joined TAMAM in 2022 during TAMAM Phase V (2021-2025) after the school principal completed the TAMAM Coaches Training Program “Coaching for school-based improved” and is still actively participating in the project to the present date.
