*This improvement initiative was under the supervision of TAMAM Steering Team.

The lead team in Tarbiya Haditha public school for girls has identified the characteristics of the TAMAM student which are the following: to be collaborative and open to all cultures without forgetting her identity, to be a good learner, to be self-confident and able to face all obstacles and challenges.

In this context it was agreed that the improvement project is “to establish a comprehensive educational approach for the development of grade 6 students’ personal, psychological and social aspects of their personalities.”

The lead team has selected improvement goals that include help the students to know and develop their abilities and to enable them to adopt a clear value system.

The school team is working on writing the improvement plan with appropriate procedures. The team has introduced activities in grade 6 within the different subject areas and an extra hour per week allotted for the TAMAM project.
