History with TAMAM

Wadi Al Maawil School is committed to cultivating a knowledgeable and value-driven generation, focusing on quality performance and effective communication. The school joined TAMAM in Phase 4 (2018-2021) as part of the third group of schools from Oman and continues to actively participate in TAMAM activities. To address its improvement needs, the leadership team implemented the “Young Readers” project, which aims to improve students’ reading levels and foster a positive attitude toward reading. This initiative includes creating an engaging outdoor reading space, designing a specialized booklet, and applying targeted reading improvement projects. These efforts have successfully advanced students from beginner to intermediate reading levels. Through this process, the team has developed competencies in professional collaboration, evidence-based decision-making, and reflective practice.
