*This improvement initiative was under the supervision of TAMAM Steering Team.
The lead team of Bzal public school has chosen a problem that they are facing which is the failure of the grade 9 students in the official exams despite their promotion from grade 8. After the data collection and analysis, it was noticed that the symptoms of this problem are rooted in previous cycles and are due to the lack of students’ motivation to learn in all cycles. The team decided to modify their plan and rewrote their improvement goals based on the new evidence collected. The improvement project became “Enhancing grade students’ motivation to learn”
The team has acquired many TAMAM Competencies during the journey: they are collaborating with all school members, they are taking decisions based on evidence and based on students’ needs and they are leading the change in their school.
