TAMAM builds the capacity of educators at the school level to initiate innovations and lead and sustain improvement through the development of networked improvement communities. We used a case study approach to answer the research question: What are the qualities of school improvement initiatives that develop and sustain a networked improvement community of schools?We identify and discuss three themes: a) building relational trusting bonds between schools, b) cultivating an ethics of care, and c) attending to the contextual commonalities and differences.
