History with TAMAM

Hariri High School II is a private, co-educational Lebanese Anglophone school located in Beirut. Formerly known as the Lebanese Evangelical School for Girls (LESG), it was established in 1860. In 1986, the Rafic Hariri Foundation acquired the school. The school caters to approximately 1,000 students from kindergarten through grade 12. It offers instruction in Arabic, English as a first foreign language, and French as a second foreign language. The curriculum follows the Lebanese national program and is enriched with scientific and linguistic goals to prepare students for local and international university exams. In 2020, the school adopted the International Baccalaureate (IB) program for secondary education and received international accreditation from the Middle States Association (MSA) in 2022. The school was among the first schools that joined the TAMAM project in its first phase (2007-2011) and is still actively participating in the project to the present date.
