*This improvement initiative was under the supervision of TAMAM Steering Team

This study aimed at abandoning the direct-method teaching methodology, where information and memorization are vital, to research-based methodology where students learn through research. Experimental learning or action research was the methodology used in this study.

The researchers used surveys, focus groups and journal writing as tools for their study. The study associated the success of the graduation project to the collaboration between the school and the monitoring committees, the timetable that was set for the projects, and the students’ motivation towards research. The researchers recommended the documentation of all students’ project and the adherence to the action research methodology in all future graduation projects.
