Online workshop presented by Dr. Ghada Jouny – Instructor, Trainer, and Consultant – Lebanese University, and Mrs. Nidal Jouny – Educational Specialist and TAMAM Coach.

This session described the conceptual framework for the social emotional learning (SEL) which became an indispensable concept to mitigate the negative effects of the pandemic and other crisis present in different Arab contexts as well as an innovative notion needed to be addressed to move towards achieving the alternative vision of a community school. The session was then followed with sharing experiences and strategies followed in TAMAM participating schools in relation to strengthening the SEL of teachers and learners. This session is the first among several others to follow in tackling this issue.
