Dr. Rima Karami participated in this forum, organized by the Ministry of Education through the General Directorate of Educational Supervision, targeting educational leaders, administrations, and supervisors. The forum aimed to support and encourage educational administrations to positively embrace necessary developments within the educational system, emphasizing their pivotal role in ensuring the quality of school work and its outcomes.
Dr. Karami delivered a session titled “Towards School-Based Development Leadership: The TAMAM Project as a Model.” This session introduced a new intellectual perspective on effective educational leadership to enhance practices and improve educational outcomes. It provided an overview of educational leadership with a clear and comprehensive vision to build an effective generation of leaders capable of achieving societal development. The session highlighted the concept of learning leadership towards achieving effective and sustainable school development. It also discussed TAMAM’s approach to school-based development leadership and building collaborative leadership capacities for development, preparing empowered leaders and change agents within their institutions.
Additionally, Dr. Karami conducted a workshop on the same topic for directors and assistant directors, engaging them in various activities focused on identifying their educational philosophies and foundations, essential for their practices. These activities provided them with an opportunity to rethink these foundations in light of the intellectual shift they were invited to consider.
