The TAMAM steering team organized its first visit to Jordan for this academic year from October 21 to 23, 2022, where Dr. Rima Karami, TAMAM Project Director, held several meetings with members of TAMAM participating schools in Jordan and with new schools to discuss potential partnerships.

Dr. Rima Karami met members of the TAMAM leadership teams from Al-Ahlia Schools, Al-Mitran Schools and Al-Asriya Schools. She also met with TAMAM team members in Al-Bayan school as well as its  general director, its primary school principal, and members of the leadership team of the Amman Baccalaureate School. Dr. Karami discussed with them their possible contributions to the sustainability of the TAMAM movement and the progress of their work on the networking initiative  related to improving Arabic language teaching, and  explored with them proposals for the upcoming TAMAM gathering in 2023-2024.

Additionally, Dr. Rima conducted a follow-up session with members of the leadership teams and Arabic language leaders in four schools of the TAMAM hub in Jordan: Amman Baccalaureate School, Al-Asriyya Schools, Al-Bayan School, and Baptist School. She discussed  their progress and contributions to the networking initiative related to the teaching of Arabic language and the future prospects for their schools in TAMAM. She also suggested various strategies to sustain the TAMAM movement in Jordan.

Dr. Rima Karami also visited with Mrs. Diana Gammoh – Coordinator of the TAMAM Hub in Jordan the National Orthodox School to present TAMAM and discuss possible ways of cooperation.She also invited all school principals on a working lunch to celebrate the winning of TAMAM UNESCO-Hamdan Prize  and discuss TAMAM’s strategic direction in Jordan, highlighting the importance of TAMAM upcoming gathering and the contribution of Jordan members in it and their key role in leading the TAMAM movement and enhancing the impact of its professional network.
