Al-Ghobeiry Second Mixed Public School held a graduation ceremony for the students who succeeded in the intermediate certificate for the 2021-2022 school year, on Thursday, November 3, 2022. It is worth mentioning that this batch of students is the group with whom the school implemented its improvement initiative launched with TAMAM since 2015 in whichmany procedures were implemented with them, and some of them were trained on student leadership.
The celebration included a speech by one of the graduating students, followed by a speech by the school principal, Ms. Fatima Salama, in which she presented an overview of the school’s history and its challenges within its conditions as a public school, and how to manages to face its challenges by interacting with its surroundings from government institutions or civil society, in conjunction with the professional development of its educational team by engaging in multiple projects. The principal of the school praised the TAMAM project and its approach that is needs-based, and that develops a strategic plan to help the school in its improvementjourney. She also reflected her pride in being part of a school that belongs to TAMAM who rwon the UNESCO Hamdan prize to reward its outstanding practices and efforts to improve the performance of teachers.
The school principal presented a shield of thanks and appreciation to Dr. Rima Karami, received by Mrs. Fayrouz Salama, an expert in building partnerships between the school and the local community, who accompanied the Ghobeiry School team during their work on their improvement initiative.
