Within the framework of TAMAM’s improvement journey for Al Maymouna Education
Schools, the lead team of Berkayel School participated in an online interactive meeting with the expert, Ms. Fayrouz Salemeh, to learn about the socio-cultural approach as a framework for building partnership with parents. Ms. Fayrouz started the meeting by focusing on the current partnership present in Berkayel and the successful practices of the team in strengthening the partnership with parents, while proposing a framework for transforming the exceptional current experience into a systematic practice within the TAMAM model. The meeting was attended by the school’s lead team, TAMAM Steering Team, and the General Director of Al-Maymouna for Education, Mr. Ayman Hamidi Sakr. The team members expressed their enthusiasm at this meeting because it formed a deeper and comprehensive understanding of the partnership with parents and that it answered many questions and challenges that they live, especially with the changing role of parents in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting is the first step in building the partnership journey, and it will be followed by improvement and operational objectives to achieve the desired goals of this partnership within the school improvement project.
