Despite all the challenges and difficult circumstances, the partnership between TAMAM and Al Maymouna Education in collaboration with the Center for Civic Engagement & Community Service (CCECS) continued according to the plan scheduled for it and concluded on Friday, March 5, the second station of TAMAM’s improvement journey, in the presence of the lead team members of Al Fakiha and Berkayel Schools, the General manager of Al-Maymouna Schools and TAMAM Steering Team. The meeting began with an introduction presenting the institutionalization path led by TAMAM, which aims to create the basic organizational structure to facilitate improvement projects in the two schools and at the level of the organization. The TAMAM team also reminded the lead teams of the stations of TAMAM’s improvement journey and the progress made on this journey. Then the schools and the general manager made presentations on the ideal scenario and improvement goals. These presentations documented the learning path taken by the teams during the second station at the level of skills and knowledge, as well as the output of this station, where they presented the ideal scenario for the best practices related to the improvement need and the anticipated improvement goals.

Following the presentations, the third station was presented: designing the innovative intervention, in addition to presenting two of TAMAM competencies: professional collaboration and systemic documentation of practice.

What distinguished this meeting was the reflection summaries presented by the participants about learning during the TAMAM journey, which showed an improvement in self-confidence, a shift in professional identity, difficulties and challenges turned into lessons learned, flexibility to stop, think and step back a little before starting again.

The partnership with Al-Maymouna for Education in light of these difficult circumstances and within the special context of the institution proves once again the ability of the TAMAM project to respond to all different contexts and to all improvement projects and to overcome all hindering circumstances.
