In a reflection pause on TAMAM’s journey with Al Maymouna Education Schools, a meeting was held on November 3rd for the schools’ principals aiming at presenting the project to institutionalize instructional supervision in Al-Maymouna schools, which will include writing policies, producing practical models for implementation, documenting experiences and coordinating roles and functions between different levels of the organizational structure. The meeting included school principals in addition to the general manager in the presence of the Project Steering Team and a representative of the Center for Civic Engagement & Community Service (CCECS) at AUB. The meeting started by reminding the attendees of TAMAM’s approach in school-based improvement, the stages of institutional growth and the ethics of using information in TAMAM, followed by the presentation of the General Manager of the Improvement Plan for Al-Maymouna Schools: Institutionalization of Instructional Supervision. At the end of the meeting, TAMAM team clarified that this improvement plan will lead to the institutionalization of certain administrative practices related to instructional supervision to ensure the integration of tasks between the different levels of the organizational structure.

These reflective pauses are essential within TAMAM approach for institutional development and ensure that the project grows and is sustained at all levels.
